Slaughterhouse – Wack MCs

Ohh shit. I don’t even gotta speak on this one. All four do just what the fuck they do! Would’ve been nice to have Joey spit a different verse. Considering we heard this one before. Dah well… it’s dope to see it put to actual use instead of some random radio freestyle. I’m fucking with it! Red Spyda on the beat, image courtesy of VillageSlum and shouts to Likwid E on the hook up. Slaughterhouse, So. Cal, Paid Dues 2009, March 28th! UPDATE: Brought it up a few posts. Why? Because it deserves more light. Eaaaaasy.

that shit aint never on pump it up you faggot, his biggest hit song and you aint know that shit is not a line on there, SMH, the verse was wrote for wack mcs, but joey has spit it on a couple radio freestyles before this leaked.

  71. First Slaughter House track were Joey actually outshines everyone. Not really a fan of this one. The beat is decent but it went downhill after the verse verse. Sounded like they just phoned it in…

  72. * I meant it went downhill after the FIRST verse.

  73. yea i agree wit most of these ppl, my least fav. but its still
as real of hiphop we goin to get now & days. SLAUGHTERHOUSE 4 HORSE MAN.

  74. not feelin the beat, but royce verse is illy

  75. idc wat any of ya say dis goes hard da beat can have u bumpin 4 hours da way it loops yea joey leaked da verse but da lyrics on da verse go 2 hard for him not 2 put it on a song royce murders it with his punch lines on dis joell’s verse is also familiar if u follow his shyt crooked has ill bars on it but if u watch joebuddentv.com royce said dis song was gonna b phoned in by every1 they were juss waitin 4 crooked 2 lay his verse get ya game up slaughterhouse bringin bak real hiphop

  76. 1st Royce was talking about Jae Hood because Jae Hood had a video talking shit about Jadakiss and mentioned that he heard Royce da 5’9′ mentioning his name in his verse. Jae Hood also had a song still talking shit about the comments Royce made.

This is what Royce da 5’9 said “I’m the 1 really yo, I’m the gun ‘Spark’ like ‘Omilio’/ You a Jae Hood gun video”

Referencing the youtube video Jae Hood had talking shit to Jadakiss with 2 or 3 dudes in da background covering their face with bandannas and bunch of guns including him.

So after Jae Hood catching feelings about Royce’s verse since Royce probably heard Jae Hood was talking shit, Royce has then been mentioning Jae Hood every now and then in some of their appearances on JoeBuddenTV and other video interviews.

  77. ^^^

So basically was just a outsider looking at the video like we all did and laughed at Jae Hood trying to be hard talking shit to Jadakiss.

So even though it was none of Royce’s bizniz he made a “funny” about the video in his rhyme. Then the next song and video Jae Hood released he mentioned Royce’s name for putting his name in the SlaughterHouse “OnSlaught” song.

Ever since Royce heard that Jae Hood caught feelings of his little “funny” joke he made about Jae Hood, Royce has been antagonizing or talking shit about Jae Hood from time to time. So basically he throw a jab instead of a “funny” this time around.

  78. I’m a big fan of Slaughterhouse since they merged. I respected all four MC’s before the group. The anticipation behind this track was sooo big I expected a BOMB when I 1st heard this.

Nevertheless, I judged it as I would as always, with a open mind because they kill almost every track they record; but the beat was good minus the “ventalation machine” sounding thing in the background. That “beep beep” sound was kinda irritating.

Joey = dissapointing verse we all heard and didn’t sound any better on the beat.

Royce = real good verse could have put more solid bars but he did his damn thing.

Ortiz = His verse wasn’t mastered so the quality sonically on his verse was bad. Maybe cause they recorded this song in different studios etc. I don’t know. Other than that his verse was cool but a little too kiddy and cheesy delivery wise.

Crooked I = was actually the most potent out of the 4. His aggression was on point throughout his verse. A few moments were off like the end of his verse. He could have did better lyrically but he was the best overall.

OnSlaught is still their best joint to me!

  79. Very late on this comment, but I was overjoyed to finally see this sample put to good use. The other 2 tracks I’ve heard, one from Busta, the other from Big Lou weren’t terrible but were nothing to write home about. Crooked I killed his verse but Royce’s “We POP Champagne” line was IN-FUCKIN-SANE. It’s gotten a (positive, “ooooh daaaamn”) reaction from everyone I’ve played it for thus far.
