Asher Roth & KiD CuDi’s RapRadar Interviews (Video)

Even though RapRadar is down right now, YN was on his grind in Austin. Above you can check his spot with Asher Roth. Then you can hit the jump for a conversation with KiD CuDi; as well as performance footage from Ash (who has an album dropping 4/20 if you didn’t know). I missed SXSW, but I’ll be at Paid Dues. Anyone else!?

  1. both interviews are dope as fuck. anybody who can actually watch these interviews then still find reasons to hate is a laame. cudi & ash are the truth… did yall see lupe said “cudi is the best thing out” on his twitter. that’s all that needs to be said, kanye, lupe & jay all like cudi’s music so all the haters obviously have bad taste in music lol.

and ash is just a normal white dude who happens to rap.
give him a break. he CAN make good music.

  2. The whole asleep in the bread campaign is funny to me.

  3. kanye, lupe & jay all like cudi’s music so all the haters obviously have bad taste in music lol.

  4. ***SEMI*** BAD TASTEIN MUSIC?

  5. Personally, I like the new class of MC’s coming out nowadays. From 2003 til mid ’08, I was wondering when some artists with different perspectives would come out. For some reason, it seems like there’s always people complaining about cats like Cudi, Wale, C.H., Asher, B.o.B, etc. Mainstream hip-hop has been stuck in a state where glorification of materials, violence, and sex have been more acceptable than creativity, originality, and examining the human condition. I hope these guys succeed at their goals and usher in a new era where all types of hip-hop are able to be accpeted and broadcasted to the masses.

Also to all the people complaining that stuff is “wack”, what is your defintion of not wack? No offense, but sometimes it seems people are quick to tear down than build up.

yo man that is exactly how i feel but, i did support that music and still do. i still think that this generation hip-hop is more about creativity and that’s a good thing.

Wack is just a preference, whats good to me might obviosly not be your good because we all didn’t come from the same place. lol although theres a universal wack which is just someone that really can’t do what they suppose to be doing. Its like playing a game of checkers and no nothing about the game, so you really should just stop haha

My bad let me rephrase my question: Also to all the people complaining that stuff [the material released by the artists I was speaking about in my previous paragraph] is “wack”, what is your defintion of not wack? Does that clarify it enough Checker Fred?
